Military Veterans Receive Letters From VA Prohibiting Ownership or Purchase of Firearms...

Ok, I’ll bite, I had dismissed this email/website (very bottom of this post)as soon as I read it. Then, numerous emails came into my inbox asking me if this was legit. My findings, no, the VA isn’t hammering vets to take away their guns. No Marines, sailors I know on the east or left coast or even veterans out of the service have received these as the email promulgates its mass distribution.

Did this person actually get this letter from the VA? Perhaps, and perhaps he needs to be restrained from firearms, I don’t know his situation. What I do know, is this should not prevent any warrior that needs help from getting it. If your a reader and you know of the "masses" recieving these and could put me in touch with them, then I may change my mind. However, until then, I would say this is a far and few situation.

This post is to give you the reader all of the info to make an educated decision)  They sky isn’t falling, not yet at least.

I posted here an introduction of what an assault weapon is. You hear it on the news, congressman/women and government officials use the term like it’s the coolest thing since sliced bread. But, guess what, I bet 99% of them have no clue what an assault weapon actually is. I can just see it now where some pimple faced spineless intern is handing their representative a cup of coffee that they bought for them to kiss their ass and is spewing their definition of an “assault weapon” to their boss to look “smart”.

What is an assault weapon? Is an AK-47 an assault weapon? Is a revolver an assault weapon? I hear many, many people who throw around the term “assault weapon” and I have to ask myself, do they even know what one is? Our own government hasn’t defined what an assault weapon is since 1994.

In 1994, Congress passed and President Bill Clinton signed into law a ban on some semi-automatic rifles and handguns that were deemed “assault weapons.” Defining the term was tricky then and remains controversial today.

“If gun control actually did work, Washington, D.C. and Chicago would be the safest cities in your nation. But [they are] not, they have the toughest gun laws and the highest crime and murder rates,”

As you may be aware, the Gov wants to restrict, deny or some may even say constrain the type of weapon you as an American can have.

(1)...to severly RESTRICT the scope, extent OF ACTIVITY
(2).. to compel or FORCE one toward a particular course of action
Synonyms: FORCE.. CONTROL...COMPEL.. COERCE... NECESSITATE

Posting THIS & THIS, it was a reasonable response to a few items like, let’s see, 20,000 Marines being fired in Feb, massive unemployment in the US (compounded with at least 20,000 in Feb and sequential months of military personnel being dismissed) nut jobs shooting up schools and the current state of America. I can tell you, being overseas and looking at America, we have some serious issues and other countries are pointing and laughing because they see America falling, fast.

I have a new job idea & it will employ Vets!!!

Freaking Awesome!!! Instills continued pride for Vets, serves a trade they are very familiar with, good at and protects soft targets. Additionally provides an immediate job gap for the 20,000 Marines getting fired in Feb.  Think it will happen?

You know what’s coming. Look, the past events I’ve heard that are happening in the States are terrible, tragic and should never happen. However gang, just because a person cant get a gun doesn’t mean there wont be mass murderers. There will be murders with or without guns. This is like saying we blame cars because of drunk drivers killing people.
