" The war in Iraq is over"........................not

Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Central Command will be based out of Kuwait, a Marine official said. Here, senior Marine leaders thank members of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, on Sept. 3. (Sgt. Gabriela Garcia / Marine Corps)

One of this presidents “claim to fame” (used very loosely) was that “he” ended the Iraq war. How’s that working out for him? Now, he can add that he rejuvenated the Iraq war all by himself when we would have be done by now but he ended “early” on his watch.

“The US Marine Corps is preparing to deploy about 2,100 grunts to be based out of Kuwait in a new unit configuration designed to respond to crises in the region, according to Corps officials.”

This is a Special SPMAGTF (Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force) one of many Marine Corps tools that is specially built for special occasions for battles. These aren’t peace keepers, UN soldiers, tree huggers or official kumbaya singers, no, these are war fighters. They won’t be there to hand out food, but to kill bad guys, straight up. America currently has well over one thousand servicemembers in Iraq and it’s going to grow. Remember though America, your Marine Corps is at a all time population low because this administration has cut us to bare bones through the sequeastration. If we send these warriors to Kuwait, that means they wont be somwhere else unlike 5-10 years ago. Hows that make you feel? (bet ya dont hear this on the news)

It’s amazing how the one that thumped his drum so hard about ending the war in Iraq is actually sending us right back into it from scratch. Better hang on America. Time for a C-Gar

President Obama stepped off Marine One and saluted Marines with a cup of coffee in his hand Tuesday on his way back from a United Nations talk on Climate Change and address on airstrikes in Syria.

One Daily Caller editor poked fun on Twitter saying, "Obama's coffee salute is especially outrageous to those who think he is going to war too latte."

Retired Head Of Marine Corps: Obama’s ISIS Strategy Doesn’t Have ‘A Snowball’s Chance In Hell Of Succeeding’

This is very interesting to see where not only the current Commandant of the Marine Corps says that Obama is doing it wrong but yet another Commandant of the Marine Corps says that this administration’s plan is not worth the paper it’s printed on. Maybe these guys are wrong, what the hell do they know about fighting anyway?

"“Specifically, if this threat to our nation is determined to be as significant as I believe it is, we may not wish to reassure our enemies in advance that they will not see American ‘boots on the ground,’” he added. “If a brigade of our paratroopers or a battalion landing team of our Marines would strengthen our allies at a key juncture and create havoc/humiliation for our adversaries, then we should do what is necessary with our forces that exist for that very purpose.”

This is just another example of how this administration is not paying the attention to this enemy as it should. What will be said by this administration when this group attacks within the US? Time for a C-Gar

The most patriotic sunset ever?

Some say there is nothing up there in the heavens, some think no one is watching over us. I beg to differ.

This American flag sunset was snapped at the Virginia Center Commons on the eve of the 9/11 anniversary

Sometimes you have to just stop and look around you to see the awesomeness that is perhaps right under your nose. Keep looking up, especially when you feel down, you just might see what you need when you are at your lowest. Time for a C-Gar

Joint Chiefs chairman opens door to US boots on ground in ISIS fight

Isn’t it interesting how we go from “ending the war on my watch” to “perhaps that was a bad idea & now I have to send our troops back to Iraq to start all over?” Despite how war is ugly and yes people die, we would have been done by now and the loss much less than what we are facing by sending troops back to restart the problem that could have been eliminated if it weren’t for “political publicity.” But you readers here already knew that.

Lets also remeber gang, your military has been crushed as far as numbers (i.e. USMC sent 20,000 enlisted Marines out of the Corps this May (one month), told 1,700 Officers "bye" (July) as did the Army and other branches. Do more with less? Really? So when does your kid sign up congressman?

Sad thing, if this administration gets out of office this new Iraq war will fall on the next administration. Let’s just remember who is starting this one again after not finishing it in the first place. Time for a C-Gar

AMERICA'S TOP MILITARY LEADER, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey, tells Congress he will recommend the use of 'US military ground forces' if the international coalition to fight the Islamic State proves ineffective — though President Obama last week vowed he wouldn't 'get dragged into another ground war in Iraq.'
