Cpl. Daniel M. Greenwald, an assaultman attached to F Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, holds up the Kevlar helmet that saved his life after he was shot in the head by an insurgent sniper.
Dont TELL me how great you are, show me how great you are. Its Monday, and if you think Mondays suck, remember, someone has it worse. Does your Monday suck or are you being lazy and worried about yourself instead of kicking the crap out of the day? There are warriors slugging it out in Afghanistan. Some wont come home. Anybody shooting at you today?
Unfortunately, those that come to One Marine’s View don’t have this issue of spewing how bad their day was, they kick the dog crap out of it. But fortunately, you do know someone who needs to hear this and the other stories on One Marine’s View so please send as required.
There are are many times all of us feel over whelmed. Some times even the best of us kicked knocked down. We all get knocked down from time to time. What matters most is the very net thing YOU do after you get knocked down. Dont tell me how great you are, show your family, yourself how great you are.
Time for a CGAR!

Can't top that first pic :O
