A Marine collecting Toys for Tots donations at Augusta's Best Buy was stabbed in the back Friday while helping to subdue a shoplifting suspect.

 I cant stand when scum of the earth think they can simply do as they please. Somtimes you gotta do what ya gotta do...are they that ignorant to think there are people out there that wont crush them?

Fellow Marines identified the injured man as Cpl. Phillip Duggan, 24, who spent part of Black Friday recuperating at Eisenhower Army Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.

What are you thankful for?

I’m thankful for a great country and those within it willing to go forward to defend it while their family does without their warrior. Such brave men & women that go forward and at best may get a lame excuse of a steak and a lobster tail that has been in a box for 3 months. When I say staek and lobster, Im not sure I would feed this to a dog but when you have been eating rations for awhile, it’s a nice change.

Gates Sets Nov. 30 for 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' Report Release

SANTA CRUZ, Bolivia, Nov. 21, 2010 - The report of a working group he created to research the ramifications for the Defense Department if the law banning gay men and lesbians from serving openly in the military is repealed will be released to Congress and the public Nov. 30, Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates announced here today.
