Guard Presence on Border Deters Threats

This type of continuous presence would provide a perfect "pre-deployment" area for our services before heading off to Afghanistan, (especially a few US Marines). I have a crazy feeling our boarders would have  fewer holes in them with a few good men standing on them. 

Heroes Call - POW/MIA

Here is another example of the  “out of sight “ heroes. Not only here as a grieving child but her entire family hoping, praying for the best. Now his daughter here is a strong warrior. I’m not sure if I was her I could be as positive and brave after losing my father while he was being a brave hero himself. Only in America do we find such warriors. God Bless America. Time for a Cgar!

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15, 2010 - A soldier designated to receive the Medal of Honor downplayed the notion that he is a hero today, insisting that his fellow servicemembers also deserve to be described that way.

Washington (CNN) -- Medals of Honor have been rare since the end of the Vietnam war. And not one of the recipients from the Somalia, Iraq or Afghanistan deployments have been alive to have the iconic blue ribbon with the gold star draped around his neck. Until now.

I know some out thee would say "im over Sept 11" I know this cause someone said it to me. (not smart)I replied by saying...not me anytime another country attacks my county I don't get "over" it. They seemed shocked I said that.

Then I contined especially since I have friends who lost loved ones in the pentagon and see their families grief every year,their kids go through life without a dadmuch like the warrior friends I lost in Iraq & Afghanistan. Perhaps its different if you dont personnaly know someone lost, sorry I'm not freaking over it.....that's the problem eventhough we repeat "never forget Sept 11 " some already have. Freaking embarrassing. Those that don't learn from history are sure to repeat it. Never forget. Semper fi..time for a cgar

Life, liberty & freedom.

You can stare at the horrors experienced that day. You can learn to live with what happened that day. You can sympathize for those that lost loved ones that day. You can shake your head in disbelief as you listened to the follow on that day, however, you must never forget that day.
