summer while Lance Cpl. Tom Geoco is supporting the war in Afghanistan,
his wife Ashley will be giving birth to their third child.
She will miss him.
She will miss his laugh and bright smile … his presence. She will
miss how, when he walks into a room their two boys, Kellan and Carter,
light up and run to him yelling, “Daddy!”

Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO) announced
today that the remains of a U.S. serviceman, missing in action from
World War II, have been identified and returned to his family for burial
with full military honors.

stuff nightmares are made of.......waking up and realizing that you have
no leg(s). Unfortunately, this is a reality for many of
our wounded warriors.
One thing they are guaranteed (I believe)
is a replacement limb, a prosthetic leg that will allow them to stand,
to walk again. First though, they have to heal from the
wounds, survive multiple surgeries and then "learn" to walk again.
