I keep seeing on Twitter and elsewhere, people saying that Petraeus has been essentially "demoted."
Is that true?

This is a political reaction. Bad, that the reporter printed what he did. Bad for the General letting the reporter into the bar where the Gen would let his hair down and relax...a bit too much around the reporter. Gen McCrystal is a great leader, officer and man.

The thing that gets me is that all of the libs that are praising Obama for putting Gen. Petraeus in are the same ones that have blasted the general in the past. But that's when Bush was in the White house...
