Thank you for sharing and posting this amazing story. I have to say as a critical care nurse I have learned over the years that miracles do happen. When families look at me and wonder if their children will be o.k. I have learned to teach them to never give up hope that anything is possible. I say a quite prayer to myself and put my trust in Jesus Christ. Medicine can only go so far but I have seen faith really move moutains. Simply brought a tear to my eye. It's funny to think that a soldier protecting our country has to serve 20 years to be eligible for retirement benefits, but a senator only has to serve one term to be eligible for full life time benefits. Doesn't seem right.
