The U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S.Coast Guard are our Nation's Guardians. Politics and polticians belong in Washington and no where else.
GOD BLESS THE USA !

However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion. GEORGE WASHINGTON, Farewell Address, Sep. 17, 1796 ~
Few men have virtue enough to withstand the highest bidder. GEORGE WASHINGTON, letter, Aug. 17, 1779 ~

The primary mission of the Army is to "provide necessary forces and capabilities ... in support of the National Security and Defense Strategies." Control and operation is administered by the Department of the Army, one of the three military departments of the Department of Defense.

Another source of Congressional power is its spending power—the ability of Congress to impose uniform taxes across the nation and then distribute the resulting revenue

I like the George's history because he was one of the most perfect president in the Unite States history, actually I have some books related with Army and some passages of George Washington, for me he's one of the best.

One particular of your principal differences involving a webpage along with a static site is the way people are able to interact along with your content material. What do you consider that? I've several strategies but have to have to feel twice. Wish your tommorrow might be better.

Can the President legally deploy Marines without the immediate approval of or notification to anyone?
Posted by: Ryan | April 25, 2011 at 05:58 PM
Furthermore, are The Marines the only Military Branch that the President can unilaterally deploy?

I am a Marine. I know the answers to these questions; I am just looking for a reputable web site/document to defend my answer. My opponent keeps going on about the War Powers Act. I know that eventually Congress has to be notified and then approve a war.
My point to my opponent is that The President can deploy Marines without any immediate approval, at his discretion, because he is the Commander-In Chief?
Can someone please help me with this?
I am a very proud Marine and want my opponent to know the facts about The World's Finest Fighting Force.
