I am very proud of my son who is now serving as a Green Beret in Afganistan. Needless to say I can't comment on much his team is doing ... but know they are doing good.
Like an 800 pound guerilla.
We pray a novena for him and his team every night.
He has come to love helicopters ... especially Marine Cobras ... who fly to support even without a big pile of bureaucratic Army paperwork that would have left them without air support.
And I am proud to say we furnished him with cigars (thanks Major P) that he could share with the Marine pilots for their very deadly support.
We also pray for my son-in-law who is in the Marine Reserve currently in Iraq
