My sister-in-law was supposed to tape it for me, but didn't have a blank tape. She hopes it will be repeated and promised to tape it for me then. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to see it. I hope it educates many who are ignorant of the love, respect and honor shown to our fallen heroes.

I ordered HBO just for this movie. I watched the movie all night long, each time getting something new out of it, I will order the DVD. It is a powerful, poignant story and I thank LTC Strobl for sharing his experience. Because of him I know Chance Phelps and he will remain in my heart as long as I live.

I am a civilian and I am "obsessed" with checking the KIA lists, I have been doing it since day one of the war because I want to know who has died for me. Being I can't serve I send care packages, words can't describe looking each day to see if there is someone I know through my correspondence on the list. It's happened. It is so hard when you can't say good-bye, and mourn and grieve for someone you never really knew but has touched your life forever. It gives me comfort to know these men and women receive so much love, respect, and care on their final journey home.

I just got through watching 'Taking Chance' and the pride I felt as I watched as regular citizens stopped to pay their respects to a fallen Marine. As a U.S. Marine (92-96), it made me realize that there are still Americans out there that support our troops. I can honestly say there were a few times I found tears flowing down my cheeks. To PFC Phelps and all the other servicemen and women who have given their lives in support of our country, my deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks go out to you. Semper Fidelis! Chad Thatcher

I wonder if the President and Commander in Chief has had time to watch Taking Chance? It might do him so good, lacking experience in these matters as it were.

This movie will be coming out on dvd......as for what Glenn had to say, there isn't anything else to add--he addressed the comments Greene made, accurately. I don't think it could be said, better.
