Love this. I'm proud of Pres. Bush for these visits, along with other reasons. I admire his grace under pressure (and a lot of nastiness!).

Leta

Another fantastic photo of a man who CARES about our military, their families and their lives.

I, too, admire his grace under pressure and nastiness. He hasn't been perfect but as far as I can tell he's never waivered from his true and genuine support of our military nor has he waivered on his convictions.

Doubtful we'll see much of that in the next few years.

MJ

President Bush is a good man. Ditto what MissBirdlegs and Leta said.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog. It is inspiring to me an SA to hear a bit of the truth which we do not get from our media. Thank you and I would love to write to you or others if you please.

I met a soldier who was supposed to be given his Purple Heart by the President on the 22nd, but who was transferred to Palo Alto on the 19th!!!!!!! Dang it! Sometimes the Army just messes stuff all up...

I'll definitely miss Bush as Commander in Chief.

Thanks for this posting of our President doing what he loves... being with our troops and their families...His smile tells all.. It is a GREAT photo...Through the good and the bad times NO President has stood for and up for our military like President Bush..

I too will miss him as our Commander-in Chief as I'm sure many in our military will also.
God Bless him..

Veteran's Wife

Too bad more pictures of his regular visits to the wounded weren't published. Thank you President Bush for never waivering from your support for our military.

I'm a veteran

it's just nice to see the President of the United States' cuddling a little boy. Thanks for sharing this photo.

By the way, Mr. Semper Fi, I also dropped by to greet you belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! And, I love your blog's music. =)

All wishes this 2009!
