It makes me so sad to read of such struggles for this family. The post office is part of our very own government, and why on earth would they treat this American warrior with such disregard? Yes, there are rules, but are there not exceptions to every rule? Why does everything seem to have to be so black and white? Why does this poor father trying to do the best for his kids have to fight so hard? Why do these innocent children have to suffer so needlessly? I can tell you one thing that is clear, this man is showing all just what a real dad is. I pray that somehow, someone reads the Major's blog and offers this man a chance at a happy life with his kids, one that they so deserve.

What a hero! Wish we had an email for his supervisor at the PO. We could put our 2 cents in about how we feel about the spirit of Christmas and "giving"(second chances)is better than "recieving". . .Bet Bryan would end up being their best employee! His children will surely give him the strength to get through all of this. God Bless him & his great family!

He's still in Ohio?

I know there are a few bloggers that live in Ohio, but I don't know how close he is to them nor whether they can give him any help. Maybe someone will step up.

I'll keep him and his family in my prayers. I hope he can find a good stable job to provide for his kids.

They are in Lordstown, Ohio. Can anyone help out there?

Cheryl Ann

I know it has been discussed before but what specifically can we do? I don't have lots of money and no clout with the court system but I don't live very far away and would love to help. Do they need things for x-mas? Anything specific that a person such as me can do? I'm willing to do anything to help their family.

It is sad to hear about all of the struggles Bryan is going through. I'm not feeling particularly proud of some of my fellow Ohioans who are, without a doubt, in the position to help him out. If I lived closer to Bryan, you can bet I'd help in any way that is needed. But, he lives a few hours away.

I already spoke to my congressman about Bryan during a Town Hall meeting back in Sept. He knew who Bryan's congressman was and promised to get in touch. He also said he would look into some of these problematic issues that some of our returning troops face.

Perhaps I should make a phone call.

Call or write to the Senators and Congressmen of Ohio. Pressure of this sort may help. Go to www.whitehouse.gov there is a fax number for the White House. you can fax this info to the President and they will respond.

How in the hell can the post office let him go when the one in Roanoke, Texas can't get rid of the woman who has been mis-sorting mail and screwing things up for years!!! She is a total frack-up. Somebody's ass needs to roll for this one. Hmmm, I'll be writing the Postmaster and my Senators. This really pisses me off!

Some of the One Marine's View readers and AnySoldier supporters have started a little "Secret Santa" effort for this family.
Please contact me directly at this email bj3672@yahoo.com
if you would like information on where to send a letter of support about Bryan's Post Office job being reinstated for him, or to join the Santa effort for the children!
Thanks All!

I just want to say a huge thank you to EVERYONE who is helping make this holiday happen for Bryan and his kids and for all of the prayers, and letter writing also. Congressman Tim Ryan's office in Ohio is also assisting with this, hopefully something can be done... and soon. You all hold a very special place in our hearts and wish all of you the best holiday season ever. Thank you again.
Love, Char

Hope that Congressman can help Bryan get his job back. No wonder postal workers go off the deep end if they get treated like this routinely!
